The MeTTA delegates to the 2010 Magayon Festival Table Tennis Invitational Tournament didn't disappointed us by improving last year's performance to 1st and 2nd Runner Up title this year.

MeTTA Back To Back Champion, 12th Stiga Xiom UP Chancellor's Cup

MeTTA men's team successfully defended their title to become the back-to-back champion of the 12th UP Chancellor's Cup table tennis tournament.  "Winning the men's team open and non-rank event will not stop us to grow; instead, it will serve as a goal for us to train harder, learn more and perform better next year." said Ting Ledesma, MeTTA President.

MeTTA Conquers 1st Mayor Arlene Arcillas-Nazareno Table Tennis Cup

April 3-4, 2010 - MeTTA captured the team championship title of the 1st Mayor Arlene Arcillas-Nazareno Table Tennis Cup, held at Vernlen Sports Center, Robinson Dasmarinas, Cavite.

Gold for MeTTA Women at 2nd Lopue's Open 2010

MeTTA women's team won the women's team event championship title of the 2nd Lopue's Open Table Tennis Championship 2010, held at the Lopue's Table Tennis Center, Bacolod, last March 26-28, 2010.

Celebrating Christmas The MeTTA way!

Metropolitan Table Tennis Association celebrated a joyful Christmas at President Ting Ledesma's place in Quezon City.  It was full of fun and laughter! With the sumptuous foods, mind-boggling games and wonderful prizes, guest were filled with joy and good memories.

Ledesma's Son, Que 4th Mayor Jejomar Binay Cup 2009 Winners

Like father like son! This time, Ting Ledesma's son - Walden, won the Boy's 14 and under division of the 4th Mayor Jejomar 'Jojo' Binay National Age Group Table Tennis Championship 2009, defeating defending Champion Daniel Cua of Filipino Chinese Table Tennis Association, with a score of 11-9, 6-11, 11-7 and 11-8.


While Jackson Que, finishes 2nd Runner Up in the Men's Singles Open, after a 3-1 loss to Julius Esposo.

2009 Joola North American Team Championship

Ting Ledesma, Lauro Crisostomo and Joseph Cruz joined the 2009 Joola North American Team Championship last November 27-29, 2009.

Nico Cruz, the Bedan topseed, represents MeTTA in the recent 2009 Hua Ching Invitation Table Tennis Tournament, held at Mandaue, Cebu.

Team MeTTA and Ledesma Kid, Sta. Rosa Cup Champion

The MeTTA team comprising of Peter Francisco, Yolando Tano, Randy Lavendia and Sonny Ligutan won the team non-rank championship at the recently held Mayor Arlene Arcillas-Nazareno's 1st Sta. Rosa Cup Table Tennis Cup 2009, Sept. 5-6, 2009.


While Ting Ledesma's son, Walden won the Championship title in the 12 years and under category.  Walden, a forehand-backhand attacking penholder, utilizing his Wang Hao-like backhand attack, pulverized his opponents all the way from the eliminations to the final round. A playing style his father would always want to learn.
